How To Create A New Email List In Leads Leap/Send Steed

In this quick video, we are going to show you how to create a list in the autoresponder that Leads Leap provides you called Send Steed, This will be the list that we tie to your 150LPD funnel

So what we have to do first of course is log into your leads Leap account. 
Now, once you are logged into Leads leap, the first thing you need to do is grab the link of your bridge page. Now we have already imported our bridge page with a share code in a previous video and to find it, we are going to scroll down the menu on the left hand side to the section that says Page Builder and click on the option that says page manager. Now this training is generic so some of hte pages you see here are for a different funnel but that doesn't matter. So for this funnel the bridge page is right here and we are just going to copy that link. And just so i have it easily available and ready, I will post it in a notepad here for when I need it. 


After we have copied the bridge page link onto a notepad draft, we are going to go back over to the meu on the left and look for where it says "Email Marketing (Send Steed)" and click under that where it says "List Manager" .

If this is your first time setting this up, then there will be no other lists here and it will be pretty blank. You are going to click on the blue button here that says "Add A New List" And we are going to type in a name for our list. If this list if for your 150 leads per day funnel, then you can simply name your list "150LPD" or something simple if you want. its really up to you. Once you have typed in the list name you want, you simply click on the button that says "Add Now" 

You can see now the list was created and so now you are going to click on this little gear icon to activate your new list. That's going to open this form. You can see here you can either type in a brand name if you want and/or upload an image for your logo.
These features are not necessary by any means and the logo option is actually only for upgraded accounts anyway. So if you are not upgraded yet, don't worry about it, It's not something you have to have by any means whatsoever.

Now what IS important here is the Redirtrect URL after verification and this is where your new email subscriber is sent after they verify their email address. Now, you may remember the bridge page is where we want to send people after they opt in and thats why we copied that link. So we are jsut going to go back to our notepad and copy that link to your bridge page again. We are gooing to go back to Leads Leap after we copy the link and we are going to paste this bridge page link in the field where it says "Redirect URL After Verification" 

This means when somebody opts into your squeeze page and opts into your list, they will get a veriication email in their inbox and when they open that email and click on the confirmation link, they will then be forwarded to this link which is the bridge page to your 150LPD system. 

Now if you scroll down to the send details, you will enter your first and last name. Youw ill also need to enter the email address you want your email subscribers to see in the FROM section each time they get an email from you. Now, once you have entered an email address, you do need to click on "Send code to verification email" This will simply send a verification code to the email inbox you entered.  Click on OK and then go check your email and copy the verification code that Leads Leap sent you. After you have done that, you DO need to enter an actual mailing address. I just used my P.O. Box. 

Now, below that you will have a section for you to enter your email signature. This is important because this is what will be automatically inserted at the botom of every email you write and send. So you can select whatever options you want and write whatever you want. I will be making another video in the future talking about the best information to include in your email signature. 

Make sure you click this box at the bottom to verify that you approve all the settings you have chosen and that you agree not to promote anything illegal like what you see mentioned here. Once you are done with that, you simply click the button that says "Save and activate". You will then see a message in red down here saying "This list has now been activated"

Once you have completed that, you can click save down at the bottom of the page and after that you can minimize these settings by clicking the edit button again.
