How To Create Welcome Email In Leads Leap/Send Steed Autoresponder

Hello and welcome to the next step in setting up your leads leap account for your 150LPD system although this information is generic and can be used to create a welcome email for any list or funnel you may have in Leads Leap.

The welcome message is actually the first email that is going to be sent to your new email subscriber once they opt into your squeeze page.

Now, if you have not yet set up your email autoresponder list in Leads Leap, we covered that in the previous video so go back and check that out if you need to otherwise this video wont make much sense.

The first thing you need to do is make sure that you are logged into your Leads Leap account. Now once you are logged in, the first thing you want to do is grab the bridge page link. So in order to copy that we are going to go to the menu on the left hand side where it says "Page Builder" and click on "Page manager" 

Now, Like I said, this training video is generic so the bridge page shown in this account is to a different funnel but we can use it for this example. You will simply want to find the link of the bridge page for your 150LPD funnel and copy it. Once we have this link copied, we are simple going to open up a notepad  like so and paste it in there so we can grab this link a little later.

Next, we are going to go back the "Email Marketing" section and click on "List Manager" Now we have already created our list in the last video tutorial so you should now see a list in this section regardless of if the title of your list matches this one or not is irrelevent. 

Next we are going to click on the button that says "Customize Welcome Email" If you have not already completed this step it will be highlighted in red to help you remember to do this step that we are about to take care of. As you can see here it says the welcome email will be sent on day #0 and this is because this is the first email they will receive as soon as they have confirmed their email address.

and we simply click here to edit the welcome message.

Once you do that, it will open this editor. Now I have already written a welcome message for you and you should be able to find it under this video no matter if you are watching this on a steps page, in Youtube or on my blog, you should see a prewritten welcome message for you that you can just copy and paste:

The Welcome Email Message Template (Message #1)

So this is what the message looks like and you can please feel free to alter or change it however you like to make it sounds more like you and be a little bit more unique. 

So for right now we are just going to copy the subject line and if your subject line looks different, thats OK. If you have a subject line you would rather use, that is more than OK as well. Once you have whatever subject line you want to use copied, you will go back over to leads leap and erase anything that may currently be in the subject line and paste your subject line in there instead. 

After that, we will go back and block in the entire message body that we want to use like this. and then copy that message body. You will then go back to leads leap, delete anything that may currently already be in the message body and paste your new message body in that now empty field. 

Now you WILL need to format it a bit to make it look however you want.

but Once you have copied the message body into that field and edited it  you need to make sure to go in and change these tags here that say "Your name here" and "Your bridge page link here" 

Now, I'm not just going to paste the bridge page link here but what I am going to do instead is highlight this line here and then hyperlink it like so. 

I copy the bridge page link and come back and highlight this line and click on this button here that is the link button then paste the bridge page link into this field here.

We will stay open in new window and then click OK and now that will be a clickable link and you can even do the same thing to the text that says "150 leads per day"  and use the same process with the link button to make that a clickable link to the bridge page as well. They are already on your list so there is no need to send them to your squeeze page again. Once people are on your list, we just want to get them to the bridge page so that they can learn a little bit more about the strategy and then have the option to get started if they want. 

You also want to make sure and ad your name at the bottom so you can delete what is there and if for example your name happens to be Ahmed Ali, you would type it in like so. Now one more highly suggested thing you can do to brand yourself is to add your photo. So in order to do that you can click down here at the bottom of the message maybe right under or over your name and then click on the image gallery button you see here and if you are a pro member you will have that option.

After you are done with that, you can slick the button at the bottom right that says "Save changes" and you are completely done with that!

You do NOT need to make any changes to your verification email either so once this is completed, you will be ready to move into the next step in Leads Leap!

Once you have completed that, you can click save down at the bottom of the page and after that you can minimize these settings by clicking the edit button again. 

Once you have completed this step, you can scroll down and start on the next step and I will talk to you in the next video.
